Grapes and wines of personality and character owe their quality to the producer's deep knowledge and understanding of a given area , its underground and its prevailing climate. Colli Euganei can be considered as an open-air geology teaching room: here you will find very peculiar volcanic phenomena identified by fair siliceous rocks often mixed with calcareous rocks from different ages.
Also the climate is different from that of the rest of Veneto: we benefit of near-Mediterranean temperatures, with fewer rains and longer hours of sunshine. This ideal picture for the production of wine is completed by the most important concentration of hot springs and of geothermical activity in the whole of Europe.

CA' LUSTRA is located in a hilly landscape, to the slope of Monte Venda, the highest of the Euganean Hills, where Faedo Valley starts: one of the most complete valleys of the protected area of the Euganean Hills Regional Park.

Here, in Faedo village,a particular mild climate invites the wine-growers of the place to take care the agricoltural activity.

Grapes and olive-grove,the chestnut tree and the cherry, have marked the story, the culture, local people hard-working life that has wisely shaped an harmonic agricultural landscape that induce the visitors to dip in a unique and unforgettable atmosphere.

Our attention is not only adressed to the grapes; for example it has respected the lawns rich of flora, that is an opportunity offered to our customers and visitors of the Euganean Hills Regional Park. In Cà Lustra you can not only buy the wine but also taste the nature contact and the wonderful landscape view.

The opening of the old paths inside the farms, the conservation and the protection of the flora, the restauration of old olive-groves and chestnut trees, the ecovery of cherry, fig trees, medlars, the cultivate replacement of pieces of ground...these are all the elements that let students visit our farm, to know better the agricultural and enological world,the landscapes, the flora and fauna of the wonderful Euganean territory.

In the winery, besides wine, you can find the intense savours of extra-virgin olive oil,vinegar, grapes and cluster distillate, cherry with cluster and integral honey, that is given by shames of acacia, chestnut tree and spring flowers.
