FIOR D'ARANCIO PASSITO DOCG
Introduced in Veneto by Venice noblemen in the XIII century,
the moscato Fior d'Arancio grape keeps its mediterranean, sunny
and vigorous character only in the Euganean hills.
Intense aroma, thick and colourful skin, crisp pulp are the distinctive
elements of this arcaic variety that loves the dry and sunny places.
It is on the growers tradition to pick the ripest grapes and
let them dry on the old barns, with the double aim of producing
an intense passito wine and dress rustic cakes for the winter
holidays.
