SERPRINO DOC
The prosecco grape, known as Serprino in the Colli Euganei area,
originates quite probably from Istria. We do not know for certain
whether it arrived first here in the Colli Euganei or in the Conegliano-area,
but the wine is a long prefered all-rounder as it suits any occasion
and any dish.
Its sparkle and its aroma are always supported by a body which
is at the same time soft and fresh making Serprino a real easy-drinker.
The grapes are produced from a small lot of about one hectare
in Faedo, on Monte Venda: the production is of about ten thousand
bottles.
